Weishaupt Design Group is a North American-based furniture retailer, manufacturer, and distributor engaged in both residential and contract markets, offering classic-contemporary designs with timeless style and enduring quality.

 

Our Weishaupt Design Group Wholesale Sales Executive is focused on lead generation, cultivating new and fostering relationships with the leading North American Dealer network for contemporary furniture and design. Select strategic partners and direct A&D clients are also in scope. Building community and driving incremental activity for the dealer partner and WDG is the core objective. This role reports to the Vice President, Sales and Business Development based in Toronto.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Strong focus on outside sales and business development
  • Training dealer sales teams and support with sales assets
  • Growth and development plans for key clients and markets
  • Cultivate new relationships with prospective clients and foster existing relationships
  • Manage and/or oversee sales activities including quotations, budget planning, client negotiations, order management and customer service
  • Sales monitoring, analysis and reporting on sales activities
  • Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Additional responsibilities as requested or required


Requirements

  • Ability to travel primarily within North America
  • Outside sales experience (5+ years)
  • Interior Design or Knowledge of furniture design
  • Strong relationships with industry influencers
  • Independent, motivated and energetic
  • Client centric philosophy
  • Driver’s license
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Excellent computer skills in Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word
  • Experience with inventory/database, preferably SAP
  • Second language an asset
